Baby Shower at Work

On Friday August 21st some of my co-workers threw me a baby shower. We all got out of the office and went to Fuddruckers...yummy! Just before it was time to leave and go eat, all of them came walking down the hallway towards my office (i'm in a different part of the office from the technical staff) and when they got close they pushed my stroller right into my office!! So exciting!! and the best part...it was all put together!!

It's Baby Shower Time Again!!

Last Saturday August 8th, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law hosted a beautiful shower for me with some amazing women whom I have met over the years, and have been longtime friends of the Smith family. Most of them have even watched David grow-up from the time he was born :)
Also in attendance were 14 of David's Nor Cal family!! Thank you so much for making the trip to San Diego we had so much fun spending the weekend with you!! xoxo

The Baby Bump

The Bump: the tell tale sign that you are pregnant...the growth protruding from your body that everyone wants to reach out and touch...the lump that keeps me from being able to sleep on my stomach (*sigh*).
Here are a few pictures that my fabulous friend Mackenzie took for David and I to remember the pregnant days when they are long gone and our little one has made his appearance in this world.

..::My First Baby Shower::..

on August 1st I had my first baby shower hosted by my mom and best friends...and boy were Wyatt and I showered! I know how blessed I am to have such amazing family and friends that I love and adore, and they certainly made Baby Smith and myself feel soooo special, A MILLION THANK YOUS to Deed, Kar, Kenz, Whit, Evan, Lis and my Mom for an amazing day!!

32 weeks

2 months left! And thank goodness because do you see the size of the belly?! geez!



I feel pretty good for the most part...if you ignore the back pain, swelling, insomnia, leg cramps, etc...We can also tack on the awesome dry hacking cough I got last wednesday and still have. I made another Drs. appointment today so we'll see if they can help move along the recovery process because I'm bound to break a rib if this coughing doesn't stop.

Overall the anticipation of meeting the little one moving and grooving inside of me is too much sometimes! I just can't wait!!...but then I can cause there is still lots to do in prep for our little guy.
